The years go faster than you think

One day it is c-a-t at the kitchen table. Blink, and it is Class 4.

Every school year builds on the one before. A small gap in Infants A becomes a struggle in Class 2. A confident reader at seven becomes a confident learner at eleven.

You cannot sit beside them for every lesson. Pip can.

Why parents choose Pip

Made in Barbados by a parent, for Barbadian children

Every part of the island is based on how children really learn: little and often, at the right level, with lots of encouragement.

Starts where your child is

No boredom and no frustration. Pip meets your child at their level and moves on when they are ready.

Mastery, not guessing

Pip notices lucky guesses and asks again in a new way, so every skill is truly learned.

Remembers what children forget

Old skills come back at just the right time, so learning sticks for the big exams.

Made for Barbados

Barbados classes, Barbados dollars and island stories. Learning that feels like home.

Reads every word aloud

Even children who cannot read yet can play alone. The words grow with your child.

You see the progress

A clear report shows what your child knows, what to practise, and what Pip will teach next.

Free, about 10 minutes

Questions parents ask

Does it follow what my child learns at school?

Pipsland covers the full primary English and maths curriculum, set out by Barbados classes from Reception to Class 4. It uses Barbados dollars and coins, island places and island stories. Pip starts at the beginning of your child's class and quietly checks earlier work, so any gaps from past years are found and filled first.

Will it help with the Common Entrance?

Class 4 on the island covers the reading, writing and maths that the Common Entrance (BSSEE) asks for: fractions, ratio, algebra, measures, grammar, comprehension and composition. Because Pip fills gaps from the earlier classes too, your child goes into the big year on strong ground. It is a daily practice partner, not a replacement for school.

How long should my child play each day?

Short and regular works best. Pip sets a daily goal by class: 15 minutes in Reception and Infants A, up to 1 hour in Class 4. A ring on the island fills only while your child is really trying, so guessing does not count. When the ring is full, the island's arcade opens for 10 minutes, and the rest of the day is theirs. You can set the goal from 15 minutes to 2 hours in the grown-ups' area.

What can my child play on?

Any tablet, laptop or computer with a modern browser: Chrome, Safari or Edge. Nothing to install. A phone works too, best held sideways. Every question is read aloud, so children who cannot read yet can still play.

They are only this little once. Give them a strong start.

Ten minutes is all it takes to see what Pip can do for your child.
